Description:

This new facility offering short break accommodation for families and children affected by childhood cancer, the first of it’s kind in Europe, is capable of offering accommodation for 500 families a year.  The mountain lodge style facility includes six double family rooms, a well being centre complete with four therapy suites, a range of age appropriate play areas, a games room, communal lounge areas, a large open dining space and an outdoor play area.

1. Comprehensive BMS providing sub-zones within the building to maximise energy conservation

2. Solar Hot Water Panels

3. Windcatcher Ventilation System

4. Heat Recovery Ventilation System

The scheme was completed 2 months ahead of the original schedule.
